Secret Lake Dog Training, LLC
offers a class to help you prepare to take
the AKC's Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) Program Test and gives the test at the last
class.
Class runs one hour a week for 7 weeks with the test being given on Week 7.
When you pass the test, you will need to send in $10 to the AKC to get your certificate.
Collar tags like the one above can be purchased for $6 through the AKC program also.
Covered in class will be the items on the test so please read the details about the test.
Your dog cannot wear a head halter, harness or prong collar. Dog may wear a buckle
collar or slip collar of nylon, leather or chain.
I recommend that you take your dog through an Elementary Class before taking the
Canine Good Citizen Class.
