I already had a working knowledge of basic obedience, so the
handouts weren't all that helpful to me.  I do think they are great
for others though.  Also, the info re: Canine Good Citizen was very
    helpful.

Karen was always willing to answer questions and discuss issues
    with my dog.

One thing I think would be helpful would be to have a 5 or 10
minute meet and play session with the dogs who are capable of
this interaction prior to starting the formal obedience work on any
    given day.

I was very satisfied - only wish I had more time to work with my dog
    outside of class.

Recommend?  Absolutely. -  the training instruction is first rate! -

What a great article you left me on Shy and Fearful Dogs.  It will be
put to good use as I have lots of both.

Last night I started the sit for food.  Zimba complied, however
reluctantly, but she'll "get it."  Ralph (good old Ralph) peed on the
floor for me in submission both last night and this morning.  I had
to put his food up for a while (in both instances) and eventually he
gave me a sloppy sit.  Nonetheless I performed for him (praise) as
if he had just won an obedience trial.  Once he learns that he's
going to be OK and not dead, he'll do it.

We're off to the races here and I want you to know that what
you've shown me, as well as the sounding board you provided, is
    priceless.
    THANK YOU!

Karen is responsive to each individual dog's needs, demonstrates
flexibility in conducting the class (dog's energy & attentiveness
may vary; kids participating at times), and makes the class fun for
dog and owner.  Facility is great place for dog training.

Karen always gave me a few extra minutes to discuss my dog's
specific needs and issues.  She never gave up on him or me, and
kept a positive attitude about our progress. - Christine
