Harrison and his younger Rottie friend Walker were abandoned - tied
to a tree. They spent several months in a windowless municipal
shelter. The first time they saw the sun was when volunteers took
them out to photograph them for Petfinder. Both dogs were wonderful
and sweet. A Rottie rescue took them into foster care and reported that
the boys were awesome dogs.
Sadly, Harrison had a growth on his leg which turned out to be an
indication of deadly cancer throughout his body. Harrison died today
and left behind a devastated foster Mom and many people who came to
love him in the short time we knew him.
