We are once again Taking it to the Streets. In addition to understanding and using basic manners, dogs also need to learn to apply those behaviors in the world.
This class is held in different outside locations in the Farmington Valley.
Activities include:

- teaching impulse control near animals that may appear such
as dogs, cats, rabbits and squirrels;
- how to properly meet and greet other dogs and people
- recall games on leash
- cues for staying close, for sniffing, for ending sniffing
- techniques for trail etiquette (horses, other dogs, loose
dogs, joggers, bicyclers) - whatever we encounter
- having a STRONG stay despite high distractions
Class will NOT BE HELD if there is heavy rain and/or lightening!
You must have completed an Elementary or Middle School to participate. Dogs must be people AND dog friendly.
